Description of Swim Services & Rates

Introductory / Assessment Swim

An Introductory Swim is a great way to introduce your puppy to swimming or for your older dog that hasn't swum before or is fearful or anxious around water. Dogs that are swimming for the first time at The Swiming Dog are required to do an Intro/Assessment Swim before being eligible to swim on their own.

60 minute session - $45

For a second dog in the same household - $15 extra

Please note it is up to the discretion of the K9 Swim Coach whether a second dog can be added to the same Introductory Swim Session.

Self-Swim

This option is only available to dogs that have already been assessed by the K9 Swim Coach in an Intro/Assessment Swim. This is for dogs that can swim on their own and get in and out of the swimspa or pool without assistance and guidance. You can choose how much time your dog swims. Up to 2 dogs from the same household can share a swim session. Please note that swim session times include time spent rinsing and drying afterward.

Assisted Swim

This is for dogs that cannot swim safely on their own or get in and out of the swimspa or pool without assistance. You can choose the amount of time your dog swims. Massage is sometimes incorporated into sessions. Please note that swim session times include time spent rinsing and drying afterward.

Discounts

Prepay Discount

You get a 10% discount when you prepay for 4 swim sessions. You can pay using PayPal (amounts shown are already discounted) or by cash, check, or credit card prior to your first swim session.

Service Dogs

Service dogs that can benefit from swimming regularly are eligible for discounted swims. Please call for more information.

Payment Options

Payment is to be made at the time an appontment is set. Payment can be made using PayPal, by credit card over the phone, or by check and mailed to PO Box 751315, Petaluma, CA 94975. Payment must be made prior to scheduled swim sessions.

Cancelled swim appointmetns will be charged the cost of the swim session if the cancellation notice is given less than 24 hours. If you need to cancel less than 24 hours before the swim session, please call 707.347.6060 instead of emailing or texting.

She checks in often to make sure dog and owner/handler are comfortable with her approach and adapts accordingly. She has a million toys, treats, etc to make it fun for the dog.
